Frida Kahlo: Name something special that makes you unique.

i more often feel distant than ‘one with the crowd’, and so i tend to think of what connects me to others more than of what makes me unique; i’d say i have an unusual self-awareness and a unique way of emulating my influences.

Barbara Kruger: What is your unpopular opinion?

(i) boat shoes are Cancelled, Blocked, Unfollowed. please wear loafers, // (ii) drugs should be decriminalised, // (iii) Phantom Thread (2017) was apart from a couple Moments very dull & the best film of that year is The Square anyways, // (iv) the whole ‘empowerment’ thing tricks people into buying traditionally feminine items on the premise of these items wielding some innate ‘power’ when in fact they’re just things and actual power is, yknow, the executive power within one’s own life? roughly the same goes for skincare sold as ‘self-care’. it’s as if you don’t love yourself enough if you couldn’t care less about 5-product routines.

Nam June Paik: What is your favorite TV show?

The Young Pope, Peaky Blinders, Archer [this could continue into an enumeration of homeric levels though]

The Guerrilla Girls: Who are your top five favorite women artists?

Evelyn De Morgan, Christine Wu, Agnes Martin, Elena Damiani, & Elisabeth Sonrel
